Sarah Greenwood is a Senior Plastics Research Fellow at the Grantham Centre for Sustainable Futures, University of Sheffield, and Chair of the North of England Packaging Society. She is a sustainable plastics expert and multi-disciplinary researcher working at the intersection of academia, industry, and policy, focusing on plastics sustainability, packaging reuse systems, and food waste prevention. With a background in product development and manufacturing, Sarah brings practical insight to complex sustainability challenges. She holds a BSc (Hons) in Physics, an MSc (Eng) in Polymers and Polymer Composites, is a Fellow of IOM3, and an Accredited Packaging Professional. As Chair, she leads efforts to support professional development and collaboration within the packaging community in Northern England.
