About Origin Packaging

Origin is a supplier and manufacturer of primary packaging solutions, such as bottles, jars, and pouches. Based the East Riding of Yorkshire, the company is a third-generation, family-owned business, which has been operating since 1963.

Origin deals in a variety of materials, such as glass (types I, II, and III), plastic (HDPE, LDPE, PET, and polypropylene), aluminium, and paper. Origin also offers solutions for a variety of industries, including vitamins and supplements, personal care (skincare, haircare, and bodycare), and fragrance.

What sets Origin apart is the operational and quality framework on which their product range rests. Having started life in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries, Origin's commitment to high-standards has made them resilient from a regulatory standpoint.

They're specialists in child resistance, with a variety of their products meeting ISO 8317 and/or 16CFR 1700.20. As well as this, the business operates to ISO 9001 and ISO 15378, they hold a BRCGS certification for storage and distribution, and they're a proud member of the Supplier Ethical Data Exchange (Sedex).

This robust quality framework has allowed Origin to seamlessly transition into the 'Controlled Substance' sector, offering packaging solutions for e-liquids and vapes, nicotine pouches, and medicinal cannabis. Here, the company's child resistance expertise is making a real difference.

    Glass Packaging

    Origin offers a comprehensive range of primary packaging products, made from type I, type II, and type III glass. Whether it's bottles, jars, vials, or pipettes, Origin offers an encompassing range of options that comply with pharmaceuticals and healthcare standards. Their range also covers various different colours of glass, including flint, which offers clear visibility of the product inside; amber, which offers significant UV light resistance to protect product potency; as well as blue and green, which offer a vintage apothecary aesthetic alongside an unrivalled shelf-presence.

    Subject to your requirements, Origin can offer an end-to-end packaging solution that is custom-built to your needs.
