Yorkshire-based packaging manufacturer Origin Pharma is expanding its European operations to meet rising demand from customers operating in highly regulated markets. The move follows the launch of Origin’s Australian arm in 2024 and allows European customers to access locally supported, compliant, and reliable packaging solutions across pharmaceutical, life sciences, and controlled substance sectors.

According to European Pharmaceutical Review, Europe’s pharmaceutical packaging and labelling market, valued at $27.04 billion in 2022, is projected to grow at a CAGR of 4.78% through 2028, reflecting rising demand for compliant, reliable solutions in regulated markets. The expansion allows Origin to simplify ordering, invoicing, and logistics for EU customers, reducing complexity and friction while providing a strong platform for both existing clients and new business opportunities across the region.

The move comes amid increasing demand for packaging partners who combine technical expertise with operational reliability in highly regulated markets.

What’s more, this will ensure that all regulatory documentation is maintained in accordance with EU compliance requirements.
